1997 “The Heron and The Fish” and “Un Locataire Dialbolique”, for bandoneon, bass clarinet and percussion. For Joshua Samsons Audible Lifestream. Commissioned by the by the Dutch Fonds voor de Scheppende Toonkunst (Fund for creative tone art)
1996 “The Fantastic Airship”. A multimedia project with a combination of the music of Marc van Vugt, surrealistic silent movies by Georges Melies and performances by the Dutch video artist Pieter Baan Muller. Music performed by the ensemble Marc van Vugts Big Bizar Habit, featuring a.o. vocalist Ineke van Doorn, percussionist Michael Vatcher (USA), trumpet player Chris Kase (USA) and violoncello player Paul Stouthamer (Spain). The compositions were commissioned by the Amsterdam Fund for the Art. The project was financed by the Amsterdam Fund for the Art, The Home copy foundation and the Dutch Film museum.
1996 ‘Mekaron’, a contemporary piece for chamber orchestra and three vocal soloists. Commissioned by the Basho ensemble that performed it in a tour project with music based on native American music.
1994 ‘The Great Steel Secret’, score to the silent movie performed live by the Basho ensemble (conductor Jurrien Sligter), a contemporary music ensemble (5 strings, 4 woodwinds, horn, piano and percussion) a contemporary music ensemble. In a project with compositions of a.o. composer Willem Breuker and Henny Vrienten.
1993 ‘As They Marched By’, commissioned by the Dutch Fonds voor de Scheppende Toonkunst (Fund for creative tone art) for a new ensemble consisting of two electric guitar players, two percussionists and an amplified bass clarinet.
1992 ‘Circuling’ for 5 percussionists. Written for the Circle percussion ensemble. Premiere march 1993.
1991 “Words” a 45 minutes radio phonic play with the vocal trio ‘Voice lab.’ for the Dutch Radio Broadcasting company who also commissioned the composition.
